September in Provence

Bonjour!

It’s hard to believe it’s October already! I thought I would share some of my time in Provence so far. I started the month of September out by meeting my oldest daughter, Halena, in Nice. We spent a few days there and then based ourselves in Antibes for the rest of the week. To have one-on-one time with my daughter was so cherished and special. We had a great time, but I’m not going to lie it was hot! I would recommend going maybe just a few weeks later {mid-September} for more pleasant weather.

A highlight for both us while we were in Nice was getting to have lunch at Le Plongeoir. It is just about the coolest restaurant I have ever been to. It is situated on the top of a rock that juts out into the Mediterranean. The food was quite good too. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance as it is very popular.

I absolutely loved Antibes. It had more of a quaint village feel vs Nice being a larger city. It was still rather busy for early September, but it is filled with charm and lots of great restaurants. Our favorite was Chez Jules {above}. Chez Jules owns several buildings on the same corner in Antibes and each one is just as charming as the other. It is a farm-to-table type of restaurant with really delicious food. We truly felt like we were on a movie set the way the whole restaurant is presented!

Another favorite was La Plage du Cap {below} in Cap d’Antibes. We decided to walk there for lunch one of the days. It took us almost an hour, but we were rewarded with the most lovely beachfront restaurant!

After our week in the Côte d’Azur, I headed to Provence to prepare for my September small group tours. I am currently in the middle of my third tour which is my final one for the year.

Vintage shopping always tops the list of things I and my tour guests love! I have a lot of photos to share, but you can always find more on my Instagram page!

If you would like to learn more about my small group tours to Provence, you can read THIS POST HERE.

This once/month flea market in Eygalières is one of my favorite brocantes! It is every month, always on the last Sunday of the month. The village itself is darling, and the merchandise is always well presented and usually very reasonably priced.

I could keep sharing phots from my beloved Provence, but I will leave it at that for now :) I have just a few spots left in my tours next fall, and then I will be sold out for 2027. I would love for you to join me and experience the beauty and magic of Provence. Please contact me HERE if you are interested in signing up for one of my tours.

Have a great rest of your day!
