I am so happy to be able to share some of my most loved finds from the flea markets in France with all of you! It’s been a different kind of year, that’s for sure. I kept waiting…hoping…that I would be able to make it to France this year, but that never happened. So, after putting my shop on hold for most of the year, I decided to go ahead and have my French Christmas Collection, as usual…
I’ve worked with several of my favorite French vendors to be able to bring you this year’s collection! Usually, I love being able to pick out each item personally at the flea markets, but this year I had to work virtually. For example, I was able to shop with my favorite brocante dealer in Provence…she took photos around her shop and I went through them all, picking the items that I loved most and wanted to include in my Christmas collection. It was the next best thing to being in Provence! And, thanks to my husband, Steve, {who works for Fed Ex} I was able to coordinate getting everything here to Illinois in a timely manor! I am blessed to have Steve as my husband, as he has always supported and encouraged me with my business. More than ever this year, I am actively giving thanks for all of the blessings in my life…it has really helped me get though this crazy year.
I have long had a love for antique and vintage French papers. There is just something so beautiful about the old handwritten script. This year, my daughter, Halena, and I handmade some Advent bags and gift bags for the Christmas collection. We used Kraft paper bags, our vintage number stamps, vintage French ribbon, and antique French papers {some dating back to the late 1700’s}. It’s a fun way to add something special to your gift giving or Christmas décor.
This is just a peek at what will be available tonight! I have lots of vintage grain sack table runners, French ironstone, vintage cheese molds, French tea towels, café au lait bowls, and much more. I also now accept all forms of payment in my shop, not just PayPal.
Thank you all for your support!!!
